Office Politics: Necessary Evil or Avoidable Disaster?

Zoom Workshop
Date: 27 January 2021 , 3.30pm to 5:00pm (SGT)

Office politics seems to be a part and parcel of office life yet we don't talk openly about it. It's often in the shadows - the pantry talks and the gossips - rather than being recognised as the killer of good workplace culture that it is.

Let's talk about this upfront and centre - is office politics a necessary evil? Is it an avoidable disaster? Why does it exist? How does it affect us? Let's talk about the elephant in the room - office politics.

Creating Trust Through Authentic Conversations

Date: 19th May 2020, 5.30 PM (SGT)

Garage Academy will be hosting an insightful webinar that aims to address the issue of Passive-Aggressive behaviours found in the workplace and how to overcome it by creating authentic conversations. This can be found in our daily conversations with colleagues or superiors through phone calls, emails or more recently, Zoom meetings.

Have you found yourself questioning if there was a hidden meaning behind what your colleague was informing you previously? You could be dealing with a passive-aggressive colleague!

Join us as our speaker, Ethan Seow, will be providing an in-depth discussion of this behaviour, its dangers and how we can actively resolve such challenges remotely, or at work through authentic conversations.

However, we are biologically wired to have biases, which affects the way we communicate within our cultures and may undermine trust we have with one another should the biases result in conflict or unhappiness.

Testimonials

Seb (NEW)_web.jpg
We engaged Undelusional for a lunchtime workshop for our airport community. We had a great turnout because they touched on a topic which is rarely talked about but a topic many people wanted to hear. The feedback from the community was great as everyone thought it was insightful. We look forward to work with them again in the future. Highly recommended on topics relating to employee engagement and company culture practices.

Undelusional has been a great partner to work with. They curated a workshop with us that spoke to cultural problems that are rarely talked about in corporate setting.
They were flexible and responsive to feedback, and more importantly driven with a clear purpose in mind.
Undelusional brought value to our employees by providing fresh and realistic approaches to building a positive work culture. I will recommend them to any company who wants to have their employees’ thinking challenged and to improve their work environment.
